Bond Finally Released! The sewer district changed plans and decided they no longer needed a maintenance bond and ordered Viking to release my performance bond. Viking refused to release my bond despite the sewer districts notice of release and clear email communications stating the District does not want the maintenance bond. Viking refused to contact the sewer district to clarify their position or help find a solution in any way. Using Viking means taking the risk everything goes exactly as planned. Any deviations from plan Viking is not a good choice. Caveat emptor. UPDATE: Spoke to someone else at Viking Bond service and they were much more knowledgeable about what it takes to release my bond.
