NLPsi #1 insurer of Students Year abroad?! Ha! Psi which claims to be the No1 health insurer for year abroad students is an absolute scam. A year after my daughter was in a RTA sustaining a serious head injury which required medical care while she was in the US, they still have not honoured claim and are still trying to wriggle out of paying her medical bill under various spurious ‘further requests’. Avoid this company - they make it very easy to sign up and we selected the top tier of cover. However if you are unlucky enough to actually need to claim for a serious accident and need this insurance company to honour and settle your claim ; forget it! GBG, their intermediary ‘customer service’ department have clearly and cynically been tasked with not honouring claims. What PSi does do is sell insurance; it’s just that they don’t pay out when you need it. Absolutely disgraceful! Save yourself a year of aggravated and unnecessary psychological stress and choose another provider!

MXUrgent Policy Modification My son's university needed a modification to the Insurance Policy. I called and my call was answered immediately by a person - not a recording or a robo-menu. I followed up on a call the next day, same quick answer. They had my issue, my name, my son's name and policy on top of their minds and had issued a modification immediately, but the e-mail failed to arrive the previous day. I am happy I chose PSI and will continue to choose them in the future.

GBOdette was very polite and listened… Odette was very polite and listened very well. As a customer service representative she was very efficient in terms of making me feel valued and cared for. However she wasn't able to help me with a solution which was actually beyond her scope and means, so I don't blame her for that. Odette deserves 5 star but I took away 1 star because PSI could do better by offering multi-year health insurance coverage. I would appreciate if PSI have multi-year (1 month - 3 years) health insurance coverage for international students because in some programs and schools they demand that we have 3 years (or equivalent to our program duration) health insurance coverage so that our visa papers are approved for 3 years. I would appreciate if PSI could consider this option in the interest of international students who need it. I am a current client and registered for 1 year (max coverage) and top tier insurance. And I plan to stay with PSI for the duration of my program. Thank you!
