We’re here to remove the role of geographical borders as a barrier to equal opportunities and freedom for everyone. SafetyWing began by launching Nomad Insurance, a travel medical insurance build for nomads, by nomads. Their second product, Remote Health, is a fully global health insurance for remote companies and workers. Both products cover COVID-19. Nomad Insurance Remote Health SafetyWing also has a resource to help founders and entrepreneurs build a thriving remote company. It contains a blog, ebook and podcast where top remote leaders are interviewed to gain insights into how successful remote companies operate. Go to BuildingRemotely.com to learn more.

Amazing customer support and very good coverage for digital nomads. The customer support is simply the best. The claims process is also quite alright. They handle it thru a 3rd party partner - WorldTrips - so the clunkiness is not SafetyWing's issue, but as far as I know since November 2023 already SafetyWing handle everything themselves, and it's much easier and faster to claim and receive a refund. Would definitely recommend. Been using them for almost a year of traveling thru South America, had a couple of situations where I needed medical attention from a doctor and all expenses, for about a $1000 combined, were refunded without an issue.

We love Safety Wing I travel basically year-round and it really feels good to know that I'm covered if/when things go wrong. It was incredibly easy to sign up, to claim and to keep assured from this amazing company.

not recommended They are again unprofessional when it comes to evaluating your claim. I have an eye inflection, which needs to remove the infected cyst. All the documents are submitted. Instead, they said this is for correction-eyesight-related surgery. I am stunned by their manner of evaluating medical claims. not recommended.

Camelia Was Super Helpful and Super Clear! Camelia was super helpful and super clear. I asked to break down specific answers so I could get clear, and she did so wonderfully. ALL customer service should be so great. Seriously.

The claim was approved after appeal I had an accident with my motorcycle, and first Safetywing rejected my claim because I could not prove I was wearing a helmet. They kept asking for a rescue report that did not exist. This caused me much anxiety and stress. Even sending a picture of my damaged helmet did not help. But then on appeal the decision was overturned, and I received the money for the claim a couple of days later. I must confess I did not expect them to overturn the decision, and I was very surprised the claim was approved. This restores some of my faith in Safetywing, and I will probably use them again on my next travel.
