However, there has been a slight delay with the processing of claim because of their system but it has been sorted. GBCoverage verified The true measure of insurance is what happens when you make a claim. My wife had an injury when she fell while skiing in Japan. Filing the claim was easy. Two months later we received a check for our total medical bills minus the $250 deductible. This was the third time we purchased a Safetywing policy and we will continue to use them for every international trip we take. ------------------------------------------------------ PS: I had an issue with my bank when I tried to deposit the check from Safetywing, which was resolved.

KRThey don’t cover your medical expenses They don’t cover your medical expenses. Only if you pay 250$ they will asume the costs from that amount. I made a claim during my trip in Vietnam and never received the money from the insurance. So, in my opinion it’s basically a scam.
