About SafetyWing

Insurance for Nomads and Remote Teams SafetyWing is your home country on the internet. We’re here to remove the role of geographical borders as a barrier to equal opportunities and freedom for everyone. SafetyWing began by launching Nomad Insurance, a travel medical insurance build for nomads, by nomads. Their second product, Remote Health, is a fully global health insurance for remote companies and workers. Both products cover COVID-19. Nomad Insurance Remote Health SafetyWing also has a resource to help founders and entrepreneurs build a thriving remote company. It contains a blog, ebook and podcast where top remote leaders are interviewed to gain insights into how successful remote companies operate. Go to BuildingRemotely.com to learn more.

Camelia Was Super Helpful and Super Clear! Camelia was super helpful and super clear. I asked to break down specific answers so I could get clear, and she did so wonderfully. ALL customer service should be so great. Seriously.

Best travel insurance you can get I've been insured with SW for over 4 years now while traveling around the world. The customer service is always willing to answer every question (even the irrelevant ones :D) and they're very fast! Together with the new complaint approval system, it's suddenly a joy to deal with my insurance! certainly never expected that.

I always have a good experience using… I always have a good experience using Safety Wing. However, there has been a slight delay with the processing of claim because of their system but it has been sorted. Customer representative are very accommodating and fast, shout out to Ronie for being so helpful all throughout the process! Appreciate the team always!

Great until you need to make a claim Everything is great until you need to make a claim. Claims are done in a different, clunkier platform, and take months to be processed. I made a claim but forgot to add the document for one of the expenses, instead of asking for it they simply closed it and didn't pay the total amount. I tried making an appeal explaining what happened and they simply rejected it saying it was a duplicate claim. Tried adding additional documents to the original claim and I got no feedback. Still trying to get paid after 3 months.

Review change I am always happy to change my stance based on how organisations respond. I did not have a great experience with an approval, however I have been impressed with the seriousness of how the org responded to my complaint. Mistakes are made, sometimes the response to a mistake makes a bigger impact on long term relationships. I appreciate how you have dealt with this.
