However, there has been a slight delay with the processing of claim because of their system but it has been sorted. Customer representative are very accommodating and fast, shout out to Ronie for being so helpful all throughout the process! Appreciate the team always!

Amazing customer support and very good coverage for digital nomads. The customer support is simply the best. The claims process is also quite alright. They handle it thru a 3rd party partner - WorldTrips - so the clunkiness is not SafetyWing's issue, but as far as I know since November 2023 already SafetyWing handle everything themselves, and it's much easier and faster to claim and receive a refund. Would definitely recommend. Been using them for almost a year of traveling thru South America, had a couple of situations where I needed medical attention from a doctor and all expenses, for about a $1000 combined, were refunded without an issue.

BEWARE !!! BEWARE !!! Don't fall for their electronics lost luggage or electronics theft policies/ add-ons. They are misleading and in turn very bureaucratic. Making it near impossible with many hoops to jump through to lodge a claim. Be very careful, I would hope that the health benefits would outweigh their options of add-ons. I think it's fair to suggest the add-ons are a scam. I would recommend other travel insurance options and from your own country of residence. Not a global conglomerate. Unfortunately, my choice to use Safety Wing was influenced by a YouTube video that was sponsored. It all seemed great. I acknowledge my poor judgement. Please don't be fooled. Thanks to their support Needed extra help to resolve a claim and Ronnie's assistance was super fast, friendly, and decisive. I was able to resolve my problem in just a few days thanks to their support. I'm always impressed by the fast and high-quality service that Safety Wing provides.

Coverage verified The true measure of insurance is what happens when you make a claim. My wife had an injury when she fell while skiing in Japan. Filing the claim was easy. Two months later we received a check for our total medical bills minus the $250 deductible. This was the third time we purchased a Safetywing policy and we will continue to use them for every international trip we take. ------------------------------------------------------ PS: I had an issue with my bank when I tried to deposit the check from Safetywing, which was resolved.
