GBPretty disappointed with my recent… Pretty disappointed with my recent renewal experience. Firstly I was sent another customers policy docs by mistake and when I pointed it out I just got an email with no text sending me a bunch of attachments with no explanation. Then on completing renewal had a couple of changes to policy wording and have emailed twice and no reply as of yet. I’ve paid my premium for the year so feel a bit disregarded. Apart from that no major complaints- not had to claim or anything yet.

GBThird year in a row renewing my trade… Third year in a row renewing my trade policy, always available on the phone without being placed on hold for hours on end. Very prompt and helpful with answering and queries too.

GBA moderate review Not entirely sure where to start with the one. Bollingtons is the old Ashgrove insurance. And were something else before that. Been with them for years but wasn't massively impressed with the recent insurance deal on my property. In essence they dropped me an email 2-3 days before the renewal and then a letter shortly after saying IT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY RENEW etc etc to put the frightners on. Suffice to say it worked and I parted with £530 for a years insurance on a 3 bed semi in south wales. Nothing 'wrong' by the letter of business here (hence the three star review) but I was a little sad to see this tactic being employed by Bollington. It didn't happen under Ashgrove or the company before that. Will likely be shopping around from here onwards unfortunately.

GBHad the goalposts changed at the last… Had the goalposts changed at the last minute by a Local Auth and Andrew and Tom pulled out all the stops to get everything sorted so we could continue to look after a vulnerable youngster. Great service.

GBIt all seemed to be a bit of a rush as… It all seemed to be a bit of a rush as we did not get our renewal option until the 27th, 2 days before the expiry of the existing policy. This was mainly due to the insurer not being contactable I believe. Seeing the what went to market and having a comparison on why we have chosen the same insurer would also be useful. Having 2 weeks and options would be easier for all.
