It all started with a spark. Our founder and CEO, Eric, lost everything in an apartment fire shortly after college. That experience was the catalyst for the creation of Effective Coverage, a digital insurance agency built to provide the ultimate insurance experience. Without a place to live and all of his possessions gone, Eric started to question why his insurance agent did not advise him to purchase renters insurance. And like that—from the ashes—education, trust, and excellence became the core values he built Effective Coverage on. It’s simple. Our goal each day at Effective Coverage is to educate and build trust with our customers. We do it by exceeding expectations and redefining the relationship that consumers have with their insurance provider.

No support when actually needed Someone shot at our home from the outside and ran away. Nobody was hurt but a television was damaged. This insurance company did not cover our damages and said since it’s vandalism it’s up to us to replace our damaged belongings.

company is no longer in business Pretty sure the company is no longer in business. You can't get insurance on their website and their phone number no longer works.
