GBAIICFL Worse Experience Ever - Lack of Response 3rd Party Claim Adjusters AIICFL sent me a low ball estimate and check, and then closes my claim in December 2022, Had American Integrity reopen the claim and haven't received any updates from AIICFL or Sedgwick (3rd desk adjuster) since. Reached out to the Florida Department of Financial Services and they contacted AIICFL who now has 50 days to response. Save yourself the frustration and hire a PA. Everyone in my neighbor has a new roof and I still have tar paper of some sort!

GBPoor communication. Claim was completed timely, finalized and check sent before I could rebut their decision. I am fighting this decision and now I will not cash check as this would mean acceptance. AI is very hard to deal with and I know this is how some insurance companies operate. Wish it wasn't AI. After my second attempt to settle claim satisfactorily I will try another review.

GBHad a claim after Ian Had a claim after Ian. Damages before deductible were approximately 25,000. Adjuster came out and wrote estimate below the 7k deductible. Called back and another adjuster came out. This time most of the items (5) were recognized as hurricane damage. Then the claim rep was changed. Almost two years later, I have had at least 3 writers and 4 agents. Still waiting for the payment of two remaining items. I was told the check was in the mail a month ago. Called to speak to a supervisor and was told a return call to me would be made within 24-48 hours. Still waiting?????? Terrible customer service. They renegotiate coverage after contract and payment is made. Whats up with that???

GBNo way to run an insurance company. Have had my homeowner's insurance with American Integrity since Dec 2012. Paid out of pocket 3 times over the first 7 years for 3 roof storm repairs ($5800) while annual premiums increased from $800 to $1900 over ten years. Roof received extensive damage during Irma, filed a claim which was denied. Had to retain a lawyer to recover $28K in damages - American Integrity finally had to settle for $58K -more than double what they would have paid if they just approved the initial claim. Little wonder they're having financial problems. Will renew with a different carrier with more 'integrity'.

GBA hailstorm hit our neighborhood in… A hailstorm hit our neighborhood in Leesburg, FL on March 27, 2019. I filed a claim, and they sent out a person from an engineering firm. Subsequently, American Integrity denied our claim by phone call from a secretary of the adjuster, who exclaimed that we had a "really good 30 year roof!" She was evidently reading from a script, or so it sounded. In the meantime, almost every home around us, in the dozens, are getting new roofs, except those insured by AI, and possibly one other company. I have signed with a roofing company to fight the claim for us.
