Initial process good then it dragged on and on Initial process was good, inputting all information requested was a chore but went fairly smoothly. Working out details got a little harder. It became progressively more difficult to get in touch with my assigned case manager. Neither phone messages, emails or texts were answered in a timely manner. After packet was submitted, and a submission date confirmed, silence fell. There were no more updates on progress or when we might see our funds. Total was eight months from date of submission of info (Feb) to funds appearing in our account (Sept). That was much longer than the 3-4 months I’d been told to expect.

Made the complex simple American Veterans Aid made the complex simple. They walked us through the application process, double checked that everything was filled out correctly and helped us provide the requested follow up materials on time. Without their help I do not think we could have completed the process. I find paperwork frustrating and without their help I don't think I could have completed what was required correctly. Great communication with us throughout the entire process.

Don't do this by yourself. I wouldn't want to have ever attempted this on my own. They were knowledgeable with every aspect of the process. Excellent!

The help we needed to be approved for aid Thorough, responsive and knowledgable. They helped us determine if my mom was eligible for benefits and guided us through every step. Once we submitted our application, mom’s approval came within a few months. She now can access the care and support she needs. The team at AVA were great!

Positive experience We had a great experience with American Veterans Aid. They helped us navigate the paperwork required by the VA. and made the process smooth. My dad, 95 years old is very happy to have the pressure off of him.
