I am self-employed and had a hard time qualifying for a conventional loan. We were two days into escrow, due to close in 28 more days. Self employed or turned down elsewhere? Listen up… After being turned down elsewhere I finally found Jayne and Darrin at HomeLife for our cash out refinance. As a husband/wife owned business owners with no other “normal jobs” it made it difficult to obtain financing but these guys specialize in self employed customers. Cash Out Refinance Initially, we gave up on refinancing our home because owning a business made it extremely hard for us to get approved.
