Tom was extremely responsive and efficient with his communication and handling of paperwork. I am also extremely confident I got one of the best deals I could working with Tom (best rate/lowest closing costs) as shopping around with the big banks was consistently more expensive. Tom is professional, courteous, and was able to get me results! Five-star PLUS.

Great communication, closed ahead of schedule I called Mike out of the blue one evening, after shopping intensely for the best interest rate we could comfortably afford for a SFH purchase. He was very receptive to helping me, and he listened to what we were looking for. My main issue with speaking to other lenders/loan officers was the BS they would insert into the conversation as to why I should go with them - basically the long used car salesman pitch. I got none of that from Mike. He was concise and straight to the point with exactly what we would be getting from Cal Loans Direct and the Lender, given our circumstances. They offered us the lowest rates we could find, but what really won me over was the transparency and openness we got from Mike and his team. He was very responsive via phone/text/email, answering questions throughout the process. We closed ahead of schedule and without a hitch. I absolutely recommend Mike and Cal Loans Direct for any purchases.

First time for online mortgage refi First time we have ever dealt with mortage or refi on line. Read the reviews for Cal Loans and they were correct. In addition when u live in California it just makes sense to deal with a California company. Our broker was Mike Combe. He was personable, professional and knew his products. A positive experience all around and handled totally by emails, phone calls, wire transfers. We would recommend Cal Loans to friends and utilize their services again. Refi on our son and DIL house.
