Do not use Business Backer Do not use Business Backer. They will fleece your bank account and if your business goes under, they will rob you of your home and leave you homeless! Predatory lending is not legal, but lenders often get by with it anyway.

Business Backer has been…Incredible! Business Backer has been extraordinarily flexible with my payments through the COVID crisis. THEY call me to see what, if any, payment works for me. Absolutely incredible customer service. I am not sure how I would had handled some of my other expenses without their caring attitude. Thank you to all of you at Business Backer!!!!

Second time around using the company… Second time around using the company for funding in the horrible 2020-skeptical at first, But Joe and the team made the process very easy to use and understand. If ever needed again for short term funding will definitely call Joe

Almost like a business partner I have to say, besides the fact that they offer very competitive rates, I feel compelled to write that they have gone over and above to assist our business during this Covid-19 crisis. Their team reviews our accounts biweekly and lowers the payments to an acceptable amount. This is exactly what I would expect from a partner! We will forever be grateful and will continue to grow with them.

Deceiving and Dishonest!! Ben, Cedric and Ian were very helpful and knowledgeable, so I thought!!!. They approved my business with Working Capital very fast and accurate but was not transparent with the fine print. When asked if I am able to refinance in 60days or so will I be able to go into a lower and better term loan, preferrably monthly instead of weekly, they both said Yes. Here it is Sept 2022, all my weekly payments on time, now they are asking for more paperwork than the original loan. Furthermore, come to find out they charged my company a high and unusual ,almost half of my loan amount, Advanced cost on top of what my loan was for. This was not explained to me and on the Business Backer contract there is a term "Future Receivable Cost". Apparently, this the apparent Advanced Cost according to my first billing statement, which was not explained to me either and ironically generated after I signed the contract. Lastly, when I gave Ben and Dana (Business Backer) a call to see why things changed its like they/Ben had developed a convenient memory loss of what was originally said to me. Its companies like these that prey on small businesses because we are just getting started and may not know much. Karma is real!!! If you know whats good for you... Please do not fall for the kindness of companies like this. That claim to want to assist your business...I will not be working with them again.
