Going Above and Beyond As a first time homebuyer, Ron was the perfect loan officer to work with. I was lucky in this crazy market, and got an offer accepted relatively quickly. From pre-approval to closing escrow, Ron explained everything in simple terms so it was easy to understand and I could make the right decision for me. He was responsive in a timely manner to all my questions and needs. In addition, he worked with me to get the numbers where I needed, including re-running numbers several times and explaining all my options. Furthermore, he was in constant communication with my realtor and making sure documents, appraisals, inspection reports, etc. were received sooner than later. Lastly, he would check in several times during the process, just to see how I was doing and feeling. It shows how much he cares about his clients and wants the best for them. HORRIBLE Experience HORRIBLE Experience. Do not waste your time/money. Raul Ramos and Gerard Meir are not only unethical, but arrogant about it. They will try to slide in "fees" at the last minute, and when you catch them, they say "well you should be happy we're even able to fund the loan". Gerard bragged about the fact that they cancelled 600+ loans in the past month and said "I get complaints all day, and it's part of why we're still in business". So screwing people is how you stay in business? How about just treating people right so you get repeat business?
