Worst customer service and non responsive I have been chasing MyUbiquity to release my fund from last 1.5 years, lost phenomenal amount of tax savings as could not take distribution last year. I left the employer in middle of 2022 and since that time I have been asking to release my funds. Made some 100 of calls and emails, no luck. I was the trustee on the account and it has been nightmare to get the account closed. The customer service is extremely poor and generally the answering person picks the call and then they return the call in 1-2 days if you are lucky. I would not recommend this company if you want to avoid the run around when you have to exit the plan. By the way dont believe their website which shows all false reviews ratings, for example they are 3.8 star on trust pilot but shows 4.6 on the website. I have given up to retrieve my funds and finally I have to highlight this incident so others dont suffer in the same way.

Ubiquity trainwreck from start to finish... I have a PCRA account with Charles Schwab in which Ubiquity is the administrator. I have verified with Schwab that there is NO NAMED TRUSTEE on the PCRA account. I have been informed by Schwab that only Ubiquity has the authority to name me as Trustee over my company PCRA account, I am a small business owner with just myself and my wife participating in the safe harbor 401k at Ubiquity. The advice I was given by Ubiquity is to terminate my agreement with them and that would "release my money" but that is extremely poor fiduciary advice because that would freeze and lock my money into the PCRA account at Schwab since there is no named Trustee. I have been trying to communicate with Ubiquity for months regarding this issue with absolutely no help and refusal to let me speak with a manager that understands what they are doing. I am thankful to the PCRA team at Schwab for providing me with good advice and I am in complete shock at the lack of customer service, fiduciary responsibility, and knowledge at Ubiquity. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM DEALING WITH THE SAME DISASTER, DO NOT WALK BUT RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have had nothing but issues with this company from day one, I trusted their marketing that they focus on helping small business owners but they dont, they only take your business and leave you with no direction, no communication, and charge you quarterly to treat you like trash.

It's Always Something...!! I can only characterize my experiences with Ubiquity as frustratingly slow and tedious. It takes FOREVER to accomplish anything that requires assistance from a human at Ubiquity! Send an email to Support and here's their standard reply: We are experiencing an unusually high volume and will respond to your inquiry within seven to ten business days. Ubiquity, here's a hint: HIRE more people! Your customers, Small Businesses, don't generally have the luxury of telling their customers to wait 7-10 business days to respond to an email, or to complete a request for action. The only thing that Ubiquity is quick with is onboarding a new customer and collecting their fees (and it seems that everything has an additional fee on top of their quarterly pound of flesh). Since I don't have any experience with other companies who administer 401K retirement plans, I can't say that Ubiquity is better or worse, only that I would not choose them again.

Beyond disgusted with this pathetic company! The sheer level of incompetence of this company is hard to believe or understand. We needed a managed plan for 2 people. The process began in Oct/Nov of 2022. The new managed plan was opened in Feb/March 2023. The rollover from the original 401K finally happened in mid Nov 2023. Everything was set up incorrectly from the start and here we are basically 2 weeks before the end of the year and I am still be asked for new documents to finish the process even though I have had innumerable calls and discussions with multiple people at Ubiquity over the last 10 months. Dealing with this company is beyond frustrating and you would do yourself a big favor by heeding this review and others like it and avoid this company at all costs.

Ask for Diana! After a rough start signing up with the sales person, Diana went above and beyond to guide me through the whole process of opening an Individual 401k which is much more complicated than I expected. I truly appreciate how Diana helped me deal with the heavy procedures in place at the brokerage firm where I opened the account. Thanks again!
