GBNot worth 3.5% fees they charge Level of customer service for the purchase process is very poor as compared to what any realtor would offer - makes me question the 3.5% homeunion fees that they charge on top of 3% real estate commission. I would definitely not work with them again unless the business model changes.

HomeUnion provides a platform and a team of Professionals that help to mitigate the risk when investing in real Estate. I have one property that has been performing, as predicted. I have heard skeptics of HomeUnion complain about the some of the purchasing fees involved in working with HomeUnion. I feel that the fees are appropriate. If you think of the time, and money you would spend to research properties on your own HomeUnion is a bargain!

GBHorrible Horrible ! We havent seen a dime for either rental property. Just fake expenses with no receipts and no one ever responds to emails or calls. Its a big black money hole

GBGreat experience so far! This is our first time investing in rental real estate. Gary Nguyen was very helpful in answering all of our questions, no matter how small. He really listened to what we wanted and customized our wishlist accordingly. But the best part was that when we found a property that we thought would be a good investment, he actually said "no, don't buy this" after the inspection report was completed. He then led us to another property and jumped on it so we wouldn't lose it - we are very pleased with our recent purchase and look forward to our first rental check and our next purchase.

ROFinally a service that offered what I need Before I found HomeUnion, I avoided real estate investment for two reasons. First, I didn’t want to buy homes locally, where an economic downturn could wipe out the value of the homes (think southeast Michigan). I wanted to diversify regionally. Second, I wanted to actually own the property, so REITs (which can be well diversified) don’t appeal to me because I wouldn’t own anything but a paper note. HomeUnion solves this paradigm for me.
