I would try somewhere else Worthless. Contacted these guys to see if I was in a spot to move forward or not To get pre-qualified. Contacted by text message and worked with Brenda Gloriani. At first was getting all the info I needed. Was instructed on how to use their app to upload the documents they needed. I asked as many questions as I could, most of which were answered. But then I started hearing less from her. Was asking when will I hear something and was just being told ‘soon’. Was then told there was some kind of technical issue, after I sent all my info. That went on for like a week. Was told they were basically having to do it manually, whatever that meant. That went on for weeks. The whole thing was sloppy, especially for a newish company using an app. Not reassuring at all..I thought everything would be smooth, but maybe it was just my agent. I went online to their website to look at their staff page to see if Brenda was even a real person or just a text response bot, and it seemed like she was real, which made it even more disappointing because of the communication. I felt like an annoyance more than a client. In all, I ended up asking something like ‘how much longer?’ about a dozen times. After finally getting a snippy response text saying “Today!”, they quietly sent me an email and said nothing to me about it being sent. I looked it over after stumbling on it the next day and then contacted again about it and I never heard anything back. That was months ago. I decided to just let them go and try with someone else in a few more months. Nothing at all about them told me I should keep trying. Not like there aren’t 100 different companies doing the same thing. In total, I spent around a month of back and forth with SYOM, and only got a headache out of it. If you decide to try with this group, get them on the phone or meet in person if possible. At the very least, stay away from Brenda if you actually want to get something accomplished.

I recommend SYOM for your mortgage… I recommend SYOM for your mortgage needs. I refinanced my existing ARM to a 15 yr. fixed loan. I got quotes from three lenders and SYOM offered the best interest rate / closing cost combination (they were very competitive). The closing cost came out to be slightly lower than what SYOM had estimated! It took about three or four iterations before SYOM correctly completed my loan application form. But they insured that the close of escrow happened before the deadline I had given them. It was a pleasure working with the SYOM team.

BEWARE ALL NURSES AND THOSE HEALTHCARE… BEWARE ALL NURSES AND THOSE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS. If I could rate this company a 0 out of 5 I would. For starters, they rope you into fast pre-approval rating without doing due diligence and always available to communicate. Once you have established a contract in hand, then the communication is completely lacking (no return emails, texts, or callbacks). Furthermore, at that point they seem to START the validation process for you loan, even though they have assured you that you are approved and qualified. They continually assure you that your funds are secured, until you need to close and then you are told that they are not ready, further funds are needed. This company cost me my homestead, and further expenditures unforeseen. They are not what they claim to be. As of date (2/11/20), there has been zero communication extended forth to me. If indeed the information provided to you was incomplete or inaccurate as you say, the burden belies on YOU to communicate with me what was deficient. THAT NEVER OCCURRED WHILE YOU PRE APPROVED for 10 MONTHS my application before a contract was in hand. DUE DILIGENCE was NOT my responsibility- it was YOURS.

Great Experience! Paul went above and beyond to help me lock in a great rate and keep it after my 2nd mortgage bank took almost a month to sign off on my refi. His team kept me in the loop daily and gave excellent, transparent service. Will definitely recommend to all my friends in the market to refinance or purchase a home!
