GBI originally started a refinance with… I originally started a refinance with them on my primary residence back in April and just gave up working with them now in October. I was originally forgiving with the first refinance that fell through at the start of covid. Second company they matched me with took several months before it fell apart. They told me the third time would work and be fast since they had all my paper work... Not so. Refinance went over 45, they relocked for an addition 21 days, managed to let that expire too. Finally sent me an updated disclosure after 66, which had raised over 1,100 dollars since the initial one (due to repeated loss of rate lock) To their credit they offered to refund their brokerage fee, but since I could still get a better deal from using a more competent company that can probably close in under 5 months I decided to walk away having lost months and just under $200 dollars due to excessive payoff statements fee (6). Their personnel is courteous and pretty reachable, they just can't seem to close. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

GBThe application was quite easy and the… The application was quite easy and the follow-up was alright. Just a minor glitch with document signing via Quicken Doc Sign, but otherwise everything went well. The interest obtained was great and found that it was lower than going direct with a finance company. I would recommend it to anyone.

GBReally unprofessional Really unprofessional. When I stated I was going to pass on their finance, Taylor became rude and unprofessional. Putting things in caps really comes across as rude in text and honestly the reason a service is refused is not something that has to be disclosed. If he cannot accept that someone is just not interested, then maybe a role in customer service is not for him.

GBI worked with Paul Kim to do a cash out… I worked with Paul Kim to do a cash out refi and was amazed by how easy he made the process. I had gone through the same process a few years back and it was a huge headache to say the least. Paul was very clear, concise, and very easy to understand. He made the entire process very streamlined and went above and beyond to ensure i understood everything and was able to answer all my questions. GBGood experience Overall, our experience was good. In the beginning, communication was very poor and we were hit by the fear of "We just gave all our financial information to someone we don't know and now they won't return our calls!" But, soon we were connected with a much more attentive rep that was great walking us through the process. We did have LOTS of hiccups of getting a notary out to do the signing, but don't think that was SYOM's issue. Overall, we would recommend.
