Vacating your house, staging it, finding an interim place to live, securing financing for the new home while carrying a mortgage on the current home — it can be stressful and even overwhelming. We're here to make it easier. With Catapult, you are in control. There are no up-front fees or deposits. You decide how you want to market and sell your home. We can work with the agent and lender of your choice. We are not a lender, and we are not an iBuyer. The more your home sells for on the open market, the more you make from the sale. Catapult charges a small fee based on the final sale price for the home.‍ The more you make, the more we make.

Excellent from start to close of sale! In August 2023 we began to consider our options as we were planning our search for a new home. However, we wanted to avoid having to sell our existing home and risk an unknown timeframe (months-year?) of not being able to secure a new home in a competitive market. Come Catapult Homes, which was the exact service/product we needed. Ankur Luthra at Catapult was extremely helpful in explaining the process and providing information for my due diligence and that of my mortgage officer (who I've worked with in prior transactions) to ultimately secure a strong underwritten pre-approval to putting up offers. Ankur and team were extremely helpful and responsive in the market analysis and offer prep. Using Catapult as our buyer agent, our offer was accepted in a multi-offer situation on our second try! It all came a lot faster then expected but then we were able to get the keys to our new home and then begin prepping our current home for sale. Catapult helped identify strong agents in our area for us to interview and helped negotiate favorable terms with the listing agent to sell our current home. Our listing agent was great to work with, addressing our seller needs, got us a lot of traffic and offers in just one week, and helped negotiate a multi-offer situation to very great terms and price above asking! Good product/service/market strategy all around. Catapult is a great service offering, should you do your own due diligence, you'll may find this to be a great product fit for those with home equity looking to be in a strong position to upgrade from your existing home. One can take their time, but it could also happen fast!

Great experience with Catapult We are San Francisco homeowners and first spoke to Catapult in early 2022 on a recommendation from our mortgage agent when we said we were looking for a new house. Catapult was very patient - it took us six months to find a home we liked and to reach back out. We had no time pressure and Catapult quickly re-engaged with us when we needed them. They enabled us to buy the new home first and sell our old house second, and we got underwritten on our new mortgage for our new home as if our original mortgage didn't even exist. It was amazing. They even helped us find a top-ranked listing agent for the sale. In short, Catapult had our back every step of the way, was super easy to work with, and was available by text, phone, and email any time we had a question or needed help.

In fact, NOT too good to be true We own a home in the East Bay with a mortgage, so the bank told us we could not get a new mortgage for a new home until we paid ours off. This left us with bad options, like considering expensive bridge loans or selling and moving out first before shopping for a new home. Catapult saved the day for us - they approved our home for their program, we paid nothing up front, and we were able to get fully underwritten for our new mortgage, as if we had no current mortgage at all. This enabled us to make a strong non contingent offer and we got the house we wanted. And, in the end, we paid Catapult literally nothing out of pocket for all of this. Ankur is extremely knowledgeable in this space, and his experience allows him to be a savvy and practical counselor; a welcome addition to the home selling/buying process that can otherwise at times be both frustrating and confusing.
