Bite-Size Brilliance Recently discovered the bite-size selection for small dogs and it has become a bit of a game changer - Beef & Egg just edges the win over Chicken but both get chomped with glee. Can't recommend them enough :-)

Sharp, Jagged Pieces of Rice. Not Good for the Dogs Gut Health I started getting Fresh Pet for our Mini Schnauzer after years of making home-made food for him. The first type I got had rice in it. My dog loves rice, and doesn't have a problem with it-unless it is not cooked throughly. I learned this the hard way, when there were times that I didn't cook it all the way through. When he started eating Fresh Pet he was vomiting about three (3) times a week. Not good. When I examined the food I noticed that the rice grans were really hard-and sharp, and determined that this was the culprit. I know he enjoyed the taste-but the vomiting was a bad sign. I started to get him the grain free formula (much more costly), and he hasn't vomit once since. If Fresh Pet would just cook the rice a bit longer, I don't think he would have this issue. But sharp, jagged, rice can't be good-for any sized dog. To clarify-the food I'm speaking of is the type in the tube (both styles-the one WITH the rice, and the grain free style). I switched to the tube style because the kind in the bag would start to stink after two (2) days. If they would just cook the rice a little longer, I think they would have a winner. I don't know if I can afford $13.00 a tube every few days.

Dogs love the food but have two… Dogs love the food but have two different sizes of same chicken product. Both are tender chicken but one with 57g portion size is and the larger one has 114g portions but can’t find any information on why or if it’s more condensed hence the smaller size and servings. And the smaller dog selection has the 57g portions but they are high protein. Confused.

Unsatisfactory Apparently they are undergoing changes to the subscription service. Can’t log in to my account as it supposedly no longer exists. After phoning I was told to wait for an email with instructions of how to set up a new subscription and to contact them again if it doesn’t arrive by the end of the month. In the meantime the date for my dogs next food order is getting closer. Some supermarkets are meant to stock this but the fridges are almost always empty hence the subscription. Such a shame as it is a really good food which my dog loves but I am having to look for an alternative.

Be careful!!!! We diside to try something new for our dog but unfortunately dog really love the food only thing I don't know what is made from but straight after eating I recognised that my dog drinking a lot off water and feel sick on next day. I even thought that is salt in the food when is not. Also he wasn't eating anything on next day and I recognised blood in his poop. I thought that maybe he's picked something outside as food smells good and he was enjoying eating specially when he's so picky so yesterday I diside to give another chance unfortunately exactly the same situation he's poly again so be careful with that food!!!
