totally disappointing experience totally disappointing experience, had a break in due to their sheer negligence, left them a set of keys for a vacant property and they failed to secure french doors leading to a break in - fortunately nothing was stolen but damaged doors and had to get in a 24 hour locksmith on a bank holiday which cost an arm and a leg! Abode completely refused to acknowledge responsibility even though they were the only ones who had keys to the french doors - delisted them and got my key back off them they're only interested in taking your money and doing as little work as possible - they would ring me to meet prospective buyers saying that they were short of staff!! NEVER USE THIS ESTATE AGENT

I used Abode office branch in Allerton I used Abode office branch in Allerton to market my property and I recieved an offer for the full asking price on the first viewing. I dealt with Adam and his evaluation of the market conditions and overall valuation was spot on so the property was priced perfectly. The online gallery images looked great and well promoted on all the leading property sales websites. All the branch Staff worked hard to achieve a quick sale and they dealt with any issues in a prompt and efficient manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Abode to anyone wanting to establish a sensible price and sell their property in a timely manner. Alan McGhee Halewood.

Do NOT rent a property with them Do NOT rent a property with them! Misrepresents the property during the viewing, gives a lot of empty promises about sorting out issues before we arrive. Then during the year, they do not fix anything within the house even though we constantly keep calling/emailing them. Does not return deposits. The worst landlord I ever had to deal with!

Totally unprofessional with a couldn't… Totally unprofessional with a couldn't care less attitude. Shame I can't give zero stars! We had booked a confirmed viewing of a fifth floor apartment with ABODE Bristol property lettings several days earlier. 24 hours before the viewing my wife contacted ABODE to check our booked viewing was still ok....as we had not heard back from ABODE....only to be told the property had two offers on the table one of which would be accepted, so the property was removed from their website and Rightmove's. So our viewing was effectively cancelled, shame they didn't have the courtesy or professionalism to inform us. ABODE were fully aware my wife had a broken ankle and would have been quite prepared to let us travel to the property and climb 5 flights of stairs on a totally wasted exercise. SHAMEFUL.
