GBI love John's books but… I love John's books but I was very disappointed by how rudely I was treated when I reached out to the organization inquiring about hiring a coach.

GBHas the JMT lost sight of its mission Has the JMT lost sight of its mission? Sadly, it seems as the mission is more about building checkbooks than serving others. It is heartbreaking. I really believed that this was different and yet greed seems to have outweighed service. It has become more about pay to play. We are taught to "avoid the shiny object" syndrome however at each turn we are being asked to spend more to get more. We are taught "we are enough" yet in order to be enough we are to buy another class or program or position. Access to certain "privileges" is purchased and then the bar is raised so more money is required to obtain the same access. The leadership team is changing without sufficient explanation. We build a relationship with someone and then they are gone. Is this also a money thing? Are other "leaders" being brought in at half the price? Finally, the leadership does not reflect the demographics of the group. Women are over represented in support roles and not in leadership positions even though the demographics of the group are likely to be a 50/50 split male to female. A classic patriarchal organization. Another disappointing fact about the JMT. On the bright side, I have met some of the most amazing people in my life. Highly motivated to change the world. For me, the greatest value has been the people I've met and the impact they are having. John C. Maxwell is one of the most amazing men I know. An outstanding leader, story teller and speaker. Is this the legacy he wants to leave?

GBIt is starting to feel like all other … It is starting to feel like all other MLM or Network Marketing experience. The more you pay the closure you sit to the front of the room. The message and the product are not the same.

GBOne of your proud employees/leaders… One of your proud employees/leaders (Tom) is actively pushing anti-vaccine & anti-mask propaganda. While telling those who are auto immune are being "dramatic & angry" for wanting people to be vaccinated & wear masks. He is feigning victim, while harming everyone else. Is personal accountability not taught at these seminars/certification classes? Is empathy for others not covered? Is a blatant disregard for Science key curriculum? Do classes teach that only money is the key to happiness & power? Or is Tom using the John Maxwell name in the wrong way & needs to be reprimanded?

IEThis is as far as it can be from John's vision, mission and values Hi There I recently showed interest in the John C Maxwell’s Team program. All looked pretty good till the usual sales fine print started kicking in. The experience was so poor over and over again that it has left me very disappointed and unsure of the purpose of the program. I have been reading and listening to John for a number of years and for me this program was the best thing that could ever happen to me. However, the whole experience has made me believe that John’s vision, mission and values have been compromised and put into a tin can which is full of unpleasant surprises. Not sure if this means anything to you but thought to share. Thanks
