GBI bring 27 years of direct sales to the… I bring 27 years of direct sales to the table. The Maxwell site has encouraged me and given me soooo much material all prepared for me to use. There is something for Every Area!! TOP that with the LIVE event in Florida. John Maxwell and the team represent giving back and leading others to better values, ideas to follow through with and put God First with the mission of Lifting others from Kids to Adults! Love it! GBI love John's books but… I love John's books but I was very disappointed by how rudely I was treated when I reached out to the organization inquiring about hiring a coach.

IEThis is as far as it can be from John's vision, mission and values Hi There I recently showed interest in the John C Maxwell’s Team program. All looked pretty good till the usual sales fine print started kicking in. The experience was so poor over and over again that it has left me very disappointed and unsure of the purpose of the program. I have been reading and listening to John for a number of years and for me this program was the best thing that could ever happen to me. However, the whole experience has made me believe that John’s vision, mission and values have been compromised and put into a tin can which is full of unpleasant surprises. Not sure if this means anything to you but thought to share. Thanks

GBThe JMT has changed my life The JMT has changed my life! Because of John Maxwell and the incredible teaching faculty, I'm a better leader, father, husband, and friend. I've discovered my true calling and am now operating my own coaching and training company! I highly recommend this company to anyone who's looking to improve their life and the lives of everyone they meet! -Eric K.

GBHas the JMT lost sight of its mission Has the JMT lost sight of its mission? Sadly, it seems as the mission is more about building checkbooks than serving others. It is heartbreaking. I really believed that this was different and yet greed seems to have outweighed service. It has become more about pay to play. We are taught to "avoid the shiny object" syndrome however at each turn we are being asked to spend more to get more. We are taught "we are enough" yet in order to be enough we are to buy another class or program or position. Access to certain "privileges" is purchased and then the bar is raised so more money is required to obtain the same access. The leadership team is changing without sufficient explanation. We build a relationship with someone and then they are gone. Is this also a money thing? Are other "leaders" being brought in at half the price? Finally, the leadership does not reflect the demographics of the group. Women are over represented in support roles and not in leadership positions even though the demographics of the group are likely to be a 50/50 split male to female. A classic patriarchal organization. Another disappointing fact about the JMT. On the bright side, I have met some of the most amazing people in my life. Highly motivated to change the world. For me, the greatest value has been the people I've met and the impact they are having. John C. Maxwell is one of the most amazing men I know. An outstanding leader, story teller and speaker. Is this the legacy he wants to leave?
