I posted on Roomies for a month plus While I felt safe on roomies, I noticed many ads with no photos at all. I was on Roomies for almost a month where there are few options for older people. What I means is I looked every day and 95% of the ads specified younger ages. I know this isn't the fault of the roomies.com site however I think better marketing techniques would draw older people. I didn't know about Roomies until I found it through a Google search. Yesterday (April 22) I sent an inquiry to a renter and never got a response, my timeline is very time sensitive, renters should be required to.respond to all legitimate inquiries. Fortunately I had ads on other sites and found my rental elsewhere.

Very helpful! Love this site, over the years I have found 2 roommates and someone to take over a lease through this site. Because of their verification process I feel very safe in talking to people on here. They make the process of finding a roommate just a little less horrible.
