About Goodwill Car Donations

About Goodwill Car Donations Goodwill Car Donations is committed to providing disadvantaged individuals with job training, employment services, and other critical community-building support. For more than a century, Goodwill organizations across the nation have been working to enhance the dignity and quality of life for individuals and their families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work. Goodwill has been able to make a difference in the lives of millions of people — and you can help us keep expanding that number. One way Goodwill organizations fund critical employment and training programs is through the generous car donations of local donors. By donating your vehicle to Goodwill Car Donations, you too can be a part of our initiative that’s changing lives throughout the country. Let’s work together to make a difference in your own community, one vehicle at a time.

Goodwill staff are problem solvers Goodwill staff are problem solvers! I experienced some difficulties with the pick up service when donating my car. As soon as Goodwill found out about it, they reached out to me and took steps to resolve the problem. If you have a car to donate, Goodwill is the place to give it.

Timely communication Timely communication in all aspects of the donation. Any questions I had were answered, nothing left for granted. I will continue donating to Goodwill in the future.

Has gone from a poor experience to a bad one. process was unclear, the phone people had no idea what the towing company is doing. I did not recieve a recipt of donation for few days after the donation. I also recieved a call trying to convince me it was my fault that the experience was a below what was expected. Then a reply to my review indicating I was the confused party. The national call center need to take ownership for their poor performance, rather then blaming me for trying to make a donation. It has become pretty evident that only a fraction of the donation goes to goodwill, the rest to the call center, towing company and auction house. I have donated cars in teh past. This was by FAR the worst experience and their recent reply to my review continues to show their tilted approach to all of this.

Great experience I called the local store and they transferred me to the car donations line. The representative was very kind knowledgeable and thank me for my donation. She gave me clear directions and instructions and it made the whole process go smoothly. The towing company called shortly after, within a few hours and they picked it up on time and without any hustle.

Goodwill Car Donation The gal I spoke with at Goodwill Car Donations was very helpful, and she discussed the car donation process very well. The Indiana Auction Co. towed my car from the Auto Care parking lot. I received a call by them and was thanked for the donation. I'm still waiting for the tax deduction letter from GW, however, I am confident that it will arrive as soon as the car is auctioned off. I had a great experience and service with all parties involved.
