GBThe true meaning of a Christian HealthShare Ministry I’m very proud to be a member of Solidarity HealthShare. Just the other day, I was notified that I shared into a bill for a family battling a severe illness that cost them $100k. It was fully paid and I helped in that. This is the true meaning of Christian Healthshare. Thank you Solidarity!

GBWould never recommend… Would never recommend Solidarity....this healthshare borders on being a complete scam. Invoices from 16 months ago have still not be evaluated for sharing. Every time my husband and I call customer service, we are told a different story. We've been told every excuse from computer glitches to varying employees to delays from oversharing. Our rate was raised $249 in one year! Sadly, we've wasted so much money in hopes of "sharing" through Solidarity.

PESolidarity was an alternative that we…are sorry we enrolled Solidarity was an alternative that we thought would make a difference . However my wife has had many issues on the phone for hours trying to find out when our bills from July ,August and September of 2022 would be paid, in VAIN! They are always processing however never getting our claims paid which are ALWAYS accumulating interest on our credit card. It is shameful because they advertise very well yet don't follow through with their end of the contract, like a good Christian should . Planning on getting a lawyer to enforce this process, it is sad it has to come to this. Mark Mangam.

GBCatholic in advertisement only. We were active members from November of 2018-May 31, 2023. In that time we’ve been sent to collections THREE TIMES and now nearing our FOURTH time starting next week for dates of service December 2022-March 2023–yes for claims submitted more than a year ago. And my medical providers have all been incredibly patient while waiting for Solidarity to process claims before finally sending to collections. Average “processing” time for claims on our bills has been around 8-12 months. Processed does NOT mean PAID! PAID claims take closer to the 18-24 month time frame and that is after much hounding through the share stream, phone calls, 3-way phone calls between provider and Solidarity. What a nightmare. The latest infraction is dealing with balance bills. Typically their third party service agreement with AMPS deals with balance bills, but last week I was told that a new policy exists that prevents AMPS from getting involved with the provider for balance bills under a certain dollar amount. (Which the solidarity rep Kelly, had no idea about, but AMPS knew it) The policy instructs AMPS to send all balance bills under a certain amount, back to Solidarity for re-review. Mind you, an EOS has already been generated at that point, the member responsibility paid. In that claims review, another EOS was generated and found that I now owe the full amount instead of the “fair” amount? So which is it? The medical charge was first considered overpriced, but then now is deemed fair and reasonable? I asked the rep what I should do about the discrepancy and lack of knowledge of this new policy and she said with total disrespect, “I guess you pay the full amount” Ugh. I could go on and on and on. It should also be known that we are a “healthy” family and have rarely used solidarity for illness. Primarily used for well-child visits and the birth of 2 babies since being members. This company is Catholic in name only. Absolutely a disgrace how they treat their members both active and inactive. Their responses to the reason for delay basically places the blame on the member for not submitting something correctly. Way to pass the buck! I’ve always had the provider bill DIRECTLY as requested. So no, it’s not a matter of member error. They claim now, that active members have first priority—which means our bills will never be shared into despite the fact that I was told ours would still be shared into because of the WELL-KNOWN backlog of claims— BUT we finally left BECAUSE our bills weren’t being shared into for YEARS some were over 2 years old at one point and this is while we were ACTIVE members. I’m so sick of dealing with collections for WELL-CHILD VISITS! Ridiculous. In theory, these share companies are wonderful, but in reality, they are a nightmare.
