GBData Master is great, but... Data Master is great, but...! The key is, it saves you time and helps to create accuracy. The only issue I've had is the 1004MC. The good news is that at some point it won't be required by lenders, but I do NOT want to see it disappear in Data Master as it's valuable for determining some adjustments like time and differences in neighborhood values (Location adjustments). Depending on the settings, it can give conflicting results in the "listing" results when compared with other 1004MC programs like ARMLS.

GBData master has been a life saver Data master has been a life saver. Cut a full 2 hours off of my report completion process. I say to all Appraisers out there, you have to get data master. If you already use some other data entry service, just try data master, their prices are unbeatable from my experience and will really help you. Their customer service is also stellar!

GBI've called twice about problems with… I've called twice about problems with the way the MLS information transfers to my ACI and both times it was not helpful. Data master does not input in some of the UAD format on the grid, such as site size includes a comma (UAD format does not allow commas) and the "Effective Date of Data Source" does not include a zero for months 01 to 09. Along with a few other items, that I have to immediately fix. It would also be nice if you included the cost approach like Spark does. To be honest, once Spark is available to ACI users I may switch over. Its not only less per month but includes the cost approach.

GBI’d give the software 4 stars but... I’d give the software 4 stars, but the value and customer service is more like 2 stars. The software works well enough, it still has some bugs however it let me do about 90% of what I want. It’s quite expensive though, over $1,000 per year and they are not even providing the data, just an import function really. The customer service was great when they were trying to sign me up but then fell off sharply. My MLS made some changes and they were quite slow to update the software even after numerous complaints. The worst part is that when I needed to cancel my service, they still charged my credit card after numerous emails, and then forced me to dispute the charges with my bank instead of issuing a timely refund. Bottom line, the software does save you lots of time, but I would look into some competitors first for better value and service.

GBI have made four calls to Data Master… I have made four calls to Data Master about a problem in the past year, and each time I explain that I never get a return call, I am told YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY HERE BACK FROM ME (whoever answers the call) TODAY But I never do, and the problem still exists. Rental data does not all transfer like it used to !!!
