Dumb website with double standard… Dumb website with double standard moderators This is supposed to be a website where we offer/receive free donations, and this is presumably because we are trying to help those in need OR we ARE the ones in need I was told my request is like asking for cash. Well, that's pathetic. Asking for ANYTHING is like asking for cash. If I asked for a bottle of coffee because I don't have money for it, that's "asking for cash." This website is unbelievable with its double standards.

Weird feeling I made a post asking for any digital camera and this person told me they had one and we could meet. I said sure but somewhere where there’s people and then sent me their number. I checked her picture on whatsapp (around 60 years old woman) and decide to check if it’s AI generated or not, and it was 99.9% generated. The way she was talking and how she looked didn’t match either. The person was also being quite insistent on meeting… why are you insisting if you’re giving it away? I’m not meeting up with this person but be careful with this!!

Was always a fan of Freecycle when I… Was always a fan of Freecycle when I first started using it but it quickly became apparent that it was not being used in the true spirit it was designed for. In the wanted section same old names looking for high value items. I put three top of the range bathroom cabinets of identical design in the offers section a few months apart and the same person came forward each time. Also the number of time wasters is beyond a joke. For these reasons I have stopped using.

loved FREECYCLE in the past loved FREECYCLE in the past. And still the concept is great. New site is counterintuitive and difficult to navigate. Really miss the instructions that were given to all newbies back when it first started. it was very straightforward. now I am clicking on different things just to try to change status of offer to "taken" and it's wasted a lot of time. MISS THE OLD SITE. Just posted something and could write "TAKEN" when someone took it without trying to figure out the bugs in this new site. Really need someone with experience to overhaul the site and make it user friendly. Thank you... the concept is still great. Just need to make site Way easier to use PLEASE!

too hard to post to the Cardiff site too hard to post to the Cardiff site, they moderators keep rejecting my posts for being duplicates when they are edits of live posts. Really useless volunteers who just want to make it impossible to post!! WHY!. I am surprised anyone gets a post of my local site, but as I only see 1 or 2 a day others must be having the same problems, am looking for a better alternative
