GB02/23/2024 Liberty Health Share is a… 02/23/2024 Liberty Health Share is a scam. Stay clear of this criminal scam company, and I don't mean back a few years ago when they were sued for fraud and embezzlement, I mean now in 2024. This company only takes money and never pays the bills you submit. The phone help only gives you the scripted run around trying to tire your out so you give up and they keep your money. They won't let you cancel your auto payment on the phone and require one month notice in writing to cancel your billings. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS! LIERTY HEALTHSHARE IS A SCAM!!!

GBLiberty Health Share - POSITIVE EXPERIENCE I chose Liberty healthshare as we are a very healthy family and regular insurance was getting quite expensive for the self employed. We were SOLD on the Christian basis behind their mission. Last year I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and without really having a primary care physician (as I am never sick and believe it or not - they file your charts away) - Liberty was there not only to help with the best care - THEY WERE SO PROMPT on their payments to my care providers. I couldn't have had better care my physicians AND Liberty Healthshare - who checked in on my status periodically. I also had a few providers that didn't accept LibertyHealth Share. In working with Liberty Healthshare - they informed me of how to get the best rates, turn the bills into them and BAM - they paid!

GBUnpaid bills since 2021 with $23K in collections are all paid now. Our family has been a member of Liberty Healthshare for years and years. And Liberty Healthshare has not covered our bills since 2021. I don't know if they will ever pay. --- Update 10/19/2023: After a 1-star review on TrustPilot, LibertyHealthshare contacted us and assigned a dedicated rep to look into our unpaid bills. It took 3 months and all of our outstanding bills are now paid.

GBI required back surgery in 2020 I required back surgery in 2020. Went through review, got all required approvals. Paid my share. Then started trying to get hospital bill shared by Liberty. It finally ended up in their MCSS partners who negotiated with the hospital for a lower cost…meanwhile I am making payments out of pocket to avoid collections issues. MCSS told Liberty in summer of 2021 they owed hospital X and needed to reimburse my Y. No ambiguity. Liberty finally submitted for sharing in Sept of 2021…still waiting. They did pay part of the hospital bill, but so far have not reimbursed me…apparently I am considered “backlog”.

GBStuck with a lifetime of medical debt We were members of Liberty HealthShare from 2017 to to 2022 and that was the biggest mistake our family ever made; I cannot even begin to describe how this has affected our lives. We have thousands of dollars worth of unpaid medical debt which in turn means we are constantly receiving phone calls and mail wanting to be paid for these unpaid bills. Our credit scores have been severely impacted. We were “banned” from our childrens’ Pediatric office. The economy has been stressful enough on most during the last several years and when adding in the completely scam of Liberty Healthshare, our overall well-being has dwindled thanks to this “Christian” organization. Edit: (as of today, 03/24/2024) I was notified by email on 03/18/2024 that 14 of the unpaid accounts had a payment sent. Although unsure if appropriate amounts were sent, happy to at least see that action has been made but there are still large outstanding balances that need paid; specifically from service date 12/18/2018 with a balance of $9,762.69! Also 07/20/2018 for $437.96. Amongst others that I could continue listing. Was noticed of a payment sent for service date 07/12/2018 but unsure to which account as there are two accounts with that date of service. One for $2,025.56 and one for $170.45. Would like to know which one was taken care of!
