This platform is full with scams This platform is full with scams and won't protect the backers at all. Many of us invested a reasonable amount of money and after 5 years nor have we been refunded, nor where there a lawsuit against this company, to insure we get our money back. Instead we are left to deal on our own and beg a scam company, so we get our refunds for a product that was never delivered (it's been 5 years now!!).

Campaign owner broke multiple terms The campaign owner broke multiple terms. Going through Indiegogo's terms and conditions, the campaign owner for a project I was backing broke multiple terms. More recently it appears the campaign owner has been selling stock before sending to backers. I created a ticket to that effect which was closed with no reply. Backing a project comes with risks but when the campaign owner breaks multiple terms and conditions, Indiegogo will not stand by their own terms that are there to protect backers.

Indiegogo is a scam Indiegogo is a scam. A company that does no verification on campaign organizers. Uses crowdfunding and perks as a mechanism to officiate a purchase. Allows indiegogo to say you didn't purchase a product when you did. Saying that your product you ordered is just a perk of your donation all of this to get around consumer law. Indiegogo is just a mechanism to deliver money to scammers and facilitate there continued operation.

A front for scammers and Ponzi schemes galore! Haven for simply taking peoples hard earned money and then placing the blame ultimately on the “backer” as its very clear they dont hold any of the “campaign starters” liable for the claims they make. Even after the campaign creators have then switched to selling the product on their own website. Opposed to following through on the campaign statements.

Dishonest company The definition of “fraud” is: “The crime of getting money by deceiving people.” Indiegogo’s platform is built on taking your money, then taking zero responsibility for the outcome of the project you invest in. Don’t give them your money. EDIT: Indiegogo’s reply made me laugh, They spouted the same BS for months while I tried to get a refund for a fraudulent campaign.
