Good product, Shipping Miscommunication My shipment was sent back to Sunday Afternoons for no apparent reason. I checked my address and other information that I was required to give. I did not make any mistakes. Thankfully a representative contacted me asking me if the return was intention. To which I replied it was not. I asked for expedited shipping due to the shipping mistake, and the representative acknowledged my request. As for the hat itself, I enjoy it. It's fashionable, which is a rarity with UPF sun hats. Unfortunately the hat has tiny holes, which gives UV rays an opportunity to pass through, so I'm not sure if the UPF rating on the label is accurate.

I emailed customer service and they responded very quickly telling me exactly what to do and attached a form to fill out. I had a couple more email exchanges with questions that were immediately answered and I received the new size hat in no time. Good customer service is so hard to find these days, I rate Sunday Afternoons as 10 +++.

Everything I expected Everything I expected. Prompt shipping, good fit, and the shape and shade for sun protection are very good. I ordered a River Guide hat first, medium size, from measurement as directed. It was a little too small, so my wife claimed it for her yard work hat! Recent skin cancer incident was incentive for better protection.

More than Disappointed . . . In June I ordered a hat from Sunday Afternoons. I needed to return it because of fit and followed the directions provided. However I have never received credit for my return. I reached out several times to the company including email, telephone and chat via their own website. I left several messages and sent many emails - but nothing. I am more than disappointed with Sunday Afternoons in all ways.

Nice hat, clunky adjustable sizing It looks like a wonderful hat, but the adjustable sizing is a clunky. There is a hook and ribbon inside the hat that you slip into different openings to tighten the inner headspace. In theory this is great, but the ribbon has no stretch to it, and twists as you move it into the tighter slots. As someone on the smaller end of the sizing this supposedly fits, I wind up with a weird gap of space between my head and the rim of the hat, and it's a bit uncomfortable. It is a lovely hat - if the internal sizing can be improved, I'd repurchase in a heartbeat.
