A cost review is useless A cost review is advertised for American Standard AC units. Having put in the desired unit size, etc the program provided an estimate from lowest to highest cost Useless!

Got the information I needed This provided me with exactly what I needed. An approximate cost estimate for a metal roof. No visits for estimates. Why waste their time, and mine when I need a starting point to project savings or refi or forget it. So now I have what I need to start moving ahead.

Great experience Their calculator was very helpful in understanding the cost of my home renovation. The manner in which the vendors reached out was also helpful for a person who doesn't want to be called every hour, on the hour. Will definitely use this site again for my next project.

Window replacement We used Modernize to help us find a window replacement contractor for our rental house in North Carolina. The process worked so well that we used the website again to locate a window contractor for our home in Washington State. If you want a fast, efficient and easy way to help you with your home improvement needs, Modernize is the way to go!

A much better perspective How enlightening! We have been considering a shower replacement for some time, but became discouraged with the high estimate we received from a contractor. This website gave us a better perspective on the range of both prices and options available in our area. We loved the choice of options from low range/basic remodel to the more high end/elaborate details if so desired. We also liked being able to access local contractors through the website. We are looking forward to planning our new bathroom in the future.
