Goodbye Mercari I've been using Mercari for years and am going to have to stop. You are trying to attract sellers but losing buyers with these new fees. A whole $15 on top of the purchase price and shipping??? This is not going to end well..

Authentication Process is a JOKE! For the most part on average its a good app to sell. HOWEVER if you're looking to sell top designer, Mercari is NOT the place. I sent ALL receipts and pics of recently bought Gucci with tags and the y said is wasn't authentic with all proof of authenticity present, so I don't trust the site as much anymore cause I KNOW it was authentic. Mercurial proceeds to say don't try to list it again.

I have been selling my estate online after selling my house and moving my lifelong treasures into storage and then Into a local shop since Dec 2020. In 4.5 years I have had 4 buyers say items broke, 3 showing no photi proof of actual item. Items totaled a bit over 600$. I was not once reimbursed even showing photos my shipping methods were consistent with "MERCARI'S POLICY." BUYER'S RETURN IS HONORED REGARDLESS OF REASON. I am reviewing now due to my 300$ ring sale being returned due to buyer's "Need to prioritize expenses." THERE IS NO POLICY HONORED OR SAFETY FOR SELLERS. We spend hours photographing, packaging, polishing, etc and loose or sake and often the entire worth of our item if the buyer claims it is broken as law states one cannot mail (return) broken items. LOOK DEEPER THAN TGE 0 SELLING FEES. I BELIEVE MERCARI IS PURCHASING OUR VALUABLE ITEMS AND STEALING THEM. 0 SELLING FEE, COME ON MERCARI!!!!!! Bad shipping services Ordered a robe 6 days ago tomorrow will be 7 days and still have not received it. Now I know it was $3.99 shipping. Will not order again from Mercari. It is $3.99 Shipping & Payments $3.99 3+ days from Virginia and then it has a processing fee and another Fee. Done with Mercari!

Mercari provided me with a duplicate label… I am a seller on Mercari and I shipped out a package with the label Mercari provided. Dropped off the package off to the post office Monday April 29, 2024. Waited 24 hours for the package to start tracking and it never did. I write out a personalized letters to everyone so I remembered the name of the person I sent the item to. Upon looking at the actual shipping label I discovered Mercari SENT ME A DUPLICATE LABEL from a previous order. I reached out to Mercari to ask for help and of course they couldn’t own up to their mistakes and said there was nothing they could do. I spent a majority of my morning calling the post office in a different state trying to intercept this package. I almost got scammed out of 36.00$ thanks to Mercari. Good job protecting me as a seller. 10/10 do not recommend using this platform to buy or sell
