My first mentor was a bust which was… My first mentor was a bust which was really sad because, on our initial call, I was very excited to work with her. Nonetheless, my current mentor has been absolutely phenomenal. I feel like I have a plan and a direction.

It was not a scam for me. I have to start by saying that I had no idea what to expect with The Mom Project when i applied to one of their open positions but I have been pleasantly suprised. I interviewed with the outside company then received multiple follow ups from The Mom Project reminding me to send thank you to the interviewer and basically keeping me posted. I got the offer for the job about 2wks after interviewing. So far so good. Only annoying thing is that I start as a 1099 contract employee so I have to pay taxes on the back end

Terrible hiring service As a recruiter, this was the worst hiring service I've ever used. The service is cobbled together and is so poorly done that it adds hours to the process. They treat moms as commodities and from what I saw don't actually care about supporting women. We had many applicants who were not moms, which was strange. It is significantly more expensive than other services and was just extremely disappointing. We will never use this service again.

Appreciate ease of the platform from… Appreciate ease of the platform from posting to interviewing to hiring. One suggestion is to make the system allow multiple people to zoom in for interviews. We had to set up our own zoom so 4 of us could join for the interviews.

Poor job transition help What went well-on boarding, interview process What didn't:1) in just 2 years, had 3 HR tool changes, including payroll. Had a minor pay disruption but was resolved. 2)CW aka contingent workers are treated like 2nd class citizens at Meta. there were times, I didn't feel like i was part of the company. I wasn't part of meta or mom project/pro unlimited.3) Had very limited contact with Mom proj/pro unlimited during my 2 yrs. only got emails and no personal follow ups 4) Zero termination support. I reached out 2 months before my contract ended and got minimal transition support. after my contract was done, I got a phone call but that was it!! terrrible, i would think an emp that lasted 2 years at meta would be helped to find their next job.
