GBMy Second WaterRower I bought my first WaterRower in 1992 and used it for 30 years until the tank began leaking. After a number of unsuccessful attempts to repair the leak, including using the factory repair kit, I bought and installed a new tank. Over the next two years and many efforts, I was unable to reassemble the rower because one small element on the frame wouldn't join. After trying to fix it for months while watching my fitness level steadily decline, I bought a new rower a few weeks ago and suffice to say I'm very pleased with the design and quality of the new unit. The only decline in overall quality that I've noticed is that while the exposed wooden edges on my old machine were nicely rounded over, the edges on the new machine still have raw corners . It's a small thing though, and doesn't detract from the rower's overall excellent quality.

GBGetting Parts for an Older WaterRower I have an older WaterRower, made for NordicTrack, and the guide wheels for the sliding seat needed to be replaced. It took a little bit of exploration on the WaterRower website, but I found the wheels there, ordered them, and was happy that they came sooner than expected. I installed them without any trouble, and I'm back to rowing again. The WaterRower is pretty trouble-free, but it's nice to know I can get the parts I need when it does have a little trouble.

GBErgatta does not support uk Bought the Ergatta add on kit and subscribed to the service. The usp for me was the gamification aspect of the Ergatta service, specifically the opportunity to have real time live races online with other users. However post-purchase I’ve discovered that the live races only happen in EDT timezone. This is middle of the night in the uk, so of no use to anyone in the uk. The rower itself is great, but on the basis that I feel I’ve been mis-sold the Ergatta kit and subscription service, I have no option but to mark it down.

GBVery satisfied customer The website was good and the item arrived promptly. What I appreciated most was that the instructions were clearly written and illustrated and all the parts and bits and pieces were in the box and went together very smoothly. The machine itself seems very well built and works well.

GBGreat Machine, Terrible Tank Filling Process The rower arrived quickly, well-packed, easy to assemble, and fun to use. The process required to fill the tank ruins the elegant design of the rower and makes a mess. Using the siphon pump resulted in nearly a quart of water all over the rower and the floor because the hose was too short, the fill port too small, and inconveniently positioned. A simple funnel or moving the fill port over a few inches, increasing the size, and using a screw-on lid like a Nalgene bottle would greatly simplify filling and emptying the tank.
