Exactly what I expected Exactly what I expected. Purchase process was seamless and I was updated on the progress of my order from confirmation to shipment. The rower arrived undamaged and assembly was straight forward and completed quickly. The rower itself is great. I've been using it every other day since it first arrived. I haven't used any other ERGs for year's so I can't compare the rowing experience. I can say it's quieter than my elliptical and the sound of the water in the drum is pretty therapeutic. Also love that this is really low impact on the joints. I recently injured my foot so runs and long walks are on hold but rowing doesn't aggravate the injury. The only two negative aspects I have are that the included syphon is horrible, and I wish it was bluetooth enabled without having to purchase additional components.

Great Product at a fair price Great Product at a fair price I got the Oak Water Rower, and it wasn't that hard to put together at all. My only mistake was overfilling the water so when I put it upright for storage it started to leak. (This isn't a problem with the correct amount of water - but the instructions about filling it could have a better warning. There's a sticker on the side for the max level, which is about 1/2 filled). It looks great even when you're not using it. Its relatively quiet, so I can watch a program while exercising. The computer shuts itself off after a few minutes of inactivity, but it seems like pressing the power button to turn it off just clears it rather than turning it off.

Excellent from start to finish From the beginning during the purchasing process to completion of setup and first workout, every step was hassle free and simple to complete. Customized my rower and it fits everything I needed.

My Second WaterRower I bought my first WaterRower in 1992 and used it for 30 years until the tank began leaking. After a number of unsuccessful attempts to repair the leak, including using the factory repair kit, I bought and installed a new tank. Over the next two years and many efforts, I was unable to reassemble the rower because one small element on the frame wouldn't join. After trying to fix it for months while watching my fitness level steadily decline, I bought a new rower a few weeks ago and suffice to say I'm very pleased with the design and quality of the new unit. The only decline in overall quality that I've noticed is that while the exposed wooden edges on my old machine were nicely rounded over, the edges on the new machine still have raw corners . It's a small thing though, and doesn't detract from the rower's overall excellent quality.

The folks at Waterrower were fantastic… The folks at Waterrower were fantastic when my 15+ old rower sprang a leak! For the epoxy fix to getting her back to action…they stayed on the line with me, helped me with exactly what I needed, and sent me the videos needed to re-engage my rower. Now if I can only find the little part (or get the schematic) to reconnect my monitor. Still looking…but at least I can row!
