GBVent Guilderland Great gym. I deducted one star because it is overly crowded most of the time making your workout experience a bit frustrating. Hard to excercise when you have less than 2 sq ft of floor space to work out on.

GBGreat Gym Great location. Plenty of parking. Great knowledgeable staff. Some patrons are lazy and don’t wipe their machines down after use and as much as the staff tries to keep up it’s hard. Other than lazy patrons I love this gym!

GBThis the best Health Club group I’ve… This the best Health Club group I’ve experienced in the 8 years living here in Albany NY. Greatest value of services, I enrolled in the top price membership, $58.00 per month & it’s worth twice that. I have work in the Health Club industry for over 25 years, from Texas to NY, for a National company, training staff, members & hiring staff for health clubs like Vent. I use the Gilderland Club. Thanks goes to the Top down to the entry level staff. I use the Personal Training team weekly, swimming, whirlpool, saunas, steam room, free weights, cardio vascular area, massage lounge, juice bar & buy from the pro shop, All very good, your fellow member. GBeverything was good as usual except for… everything was good as usual except for the shower soap dispensers.. One was not operating as it should. I opened it to check for soap and found a lot of mold/ mildew?? inside. I moved to another shower stall for a usable soap dispenser and checked the interior of that one and found it in the same condition.. a periodic spray of bleach, vinegar, whatever would prevent this.

GBMy only dislike in the 2 weeks I've… My only dislike in the 2 weeks I've been a member is that upgrading isn't cost effective. I understand that the $9.99 per month is a contract, but I'm willing to pay the additional $20 a month to go to the next level. I'd even be willing to sign a 3 or 6 month, even a one year contract to join at he level, but they only offer month to month. So , in essence, I;d lose my $99.99 sign up fee and still have to pay the extra $20 a month. Guess I'll be staying at level 1.
