Do not pay them any money Bunch of cowboys. Absolute rip-off leagues, try to tie you in, make it impossible to leave and make threats when you won't pay. The leagues themselves are poorly organised, there's little regard for player safety and a lack of duty of care by most umpires. Do not waste your money. You're better off finding a nice locally-organised league.

They happily admit their umpires do not need to be qualified even in the basic Into officiating course! Coordinator of the Worthing league is rude. She uses the weather as reasons why she is not making contact/ replayed ball calls. Games are dangerous through the poor umpiring. You try and complain and they don’t care. There are so many other leagues with qualified umpires and so much cheaper. They won’t tell anyone if games are cancelled till 7pm (first game starts at that time) games are cancelled due to lack of umpires. The amount you pay per game you expect an umpire to know what they are doing. Stay clear of play netball.

Play-netball is too expensive at £5 for… Play-netball is too expensive at £5 for 32 minutes on court time. Local leagues play 48 minutes on court at £2.50 per game. Its great that so many ladies are getting back to netball but if your aim to encourage ladies to get fit, make friends and enjoy the sport you need to acknowledge that you are excluding a significant proportion of our local population.

Play Netball is an amazing community… Play Netball is an amazing community for woman interested in Netball. Everyone is incredibly supportive and friendly, and it’s great exercise! Games are cheap, ranging from £5-£8 and I have made some incredible friendships since joining. Recently changed to an online system, which did take a while to get used too but has made paying for games easier. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to get back into

Absolutely awful umpiring and when I… Absolutely awful umpiring and when I simple asked to explain what my penalty was for I got told that I was being rude and arguing with a 'professional umpire'. I completely understand that you should not argue with the umpire and that is is a really tough job. Especially trying to see everything but it made me really dislike netball and I had to £6 for a game ! I now play on a Monday and Wednesday elsewhere and absolutely love it ! Thank you very much.
