GBPlay Netball Colchester got me back… Play Netball Colchester got me back into a team sport after over 15 yrs gap. I joined a team of fabulous like minded ladies, all who had never met before, we gelled straightaway and are great friends. Whatever fitness level, age, ability, play netball is for all - it’s a fun way to get a bit fitter, challenge yourself, socialise and meet other inspirational women!

GBPlay-netball is too expensive at £5 for… Play-netball is too expensive at £5 for 32 minutes on court time. Local leagues play 48 minutes on court at £2.50 per game. Its great that so many ladies are getting back to netball but if your aim to encourage ladies to get fit, make friends and enjoy the sport you need to acknowledge that you are excluding a significant proportion of our local population.

GBNot enjoyable Our team were treated badly, not being move up a league in favour for a new team. They seem to be encouraging poor sportsmanship from the teams. They allow teams to completely replace their team with a team from the higher leagues, a basically cheat their way to a win. I was hoping for a fun league that I could play each week and just enjoy it but it became a struggle and was no longer fun. The umpires were mostly ok but there were some that were just unfair and rude. The cost is not worth it at all

GBWorst social league Worst social league This league is entirely focused on taking money and not on playing. The central team are slow to respond, assign teams, get the right level for players or teams. There is also the intimidation about signing up for leagues and potential debt that I’ve never experienced anywhere else! Local managers & umpires are for the most part very poor. Run through Facebook, they resort to posts about teams or players when they’re not happy. There is no involvement in helping to organise fill ins, which could make sure people always got a game. It really feels like they couldn’t care less as long as they get your money. I’m sure the only reason people join is because it’s local. I’d recommend alternative leagues if available.

GBlies and scammers So after this reply on trust pilot from play netball Reply from Play Netball ‘Updated 4 days ago Hi Jadie, we're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with leaving the league. You should only need to pay for the season you're currently playing in, if your team wishes to leave that's fine, you won't be charged for the new season. If you haven't already please email info@play-netballXxx so we can resolve this problem so your team isn't re-entered into the next season.’ We don’t have a team to enter and we are not using their services any longer we gave 1 weeks notice before the league started again We are still being told we have to pay …. Liars will have to go legal now Avoid at all costs
