Do not recommend! I was assigned to a team, and added to their whats app group. I played for them for around six games and was added to their whats app group. I replied to every email twice a week confirming my availability/unavailability for the next match. After two family grievances in close proximity, I kept responding to the automated emails declining my attendance at two matches but did not tell the whats app group (two weeks silence on the whats app group). When I returned from sick leave I had been removed from the whats app group and stoped receiving emails from Play Netball, after I had just paid the for the season. I tried contacting play netball directly but received no response. I do not recommend this company to anyone who values good communication skills, team work and integrity.

Play Netball Colchester got me back… Play Netball Colchester got me back into a team sport after over 15 yrs gap. I joined a team of fabulous like minded ladies, all who had never met before, we gelled straightaway and are great friends. Whatever fitness level, age, ability, play netball is for all - it’s a fun way to get a bit fitter, challenge yourself, socialise and meet other inspirational women!

Absolutely awful umpiring and when I… Absolutely awful umpiring and when I simple asked to explain what my penalty was for I got told that I was being rude and arguing with a 'professional umpire'. I completely understand that you should not argue with the umpire and that is is a really tough job. Especially trying to see everything but it made me really dislike netball and I had to £6 for a game ! I now play on a Monday and Wednesday elsewhere and absolutely love it ! Thank you very much. Play Netball is an amazing community… Play Netball is an amazing community for woman interested in Netball. Everyone is incredibly supportive and friendly, and it’s great exercise! Games are cheap, ranging from £5-£8 and I have made some incredible friendships since joining. Recently changed to an online system, which did take a while to get used too but has made paying for games easier. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to get back into

Really really bad! Really really bad!! The first couple of weeks were okay, everyone was welcoming and friendly it after that initial few weeks the people who organise it got a bit nasty! Not welcoming, let alone the umpiring!!! Again first couple of weeks were okay then it got very unfair and biased! Umpires are pretty useless, don’t call the right thing, don’t follow the ball on court so wouldn’t enable to call correctly even if they wanted to! They are lazy and unfair!!! I think they need a bit of work and maybe a check with the rule book!! Considering this is such a expensive way to play netball ( ridiculous amount) I would have liked to think that you could spent a bit Of money on training or better umpires! All in all pretty rubbish, there are many other friendlier, cheaper and better leagues to play in! This is the Peterborough league
