Our 6-days a week communication style has been direct and honest. I tell him daily how I feel after a workout or a mental struggle at work and we go from there in a positive, uplifting, and guiding momentum. The personal workouts that Coach Birdsong builds in my Final Surge app are always prompt and push me to be the best athlete that I can be. I'm pretty blunt about my personal running struggles and how I take myself way too seriously and Coach Birdsong handles my pirate mouth like a pro! I had the opportunity to meet him in person and I found him to be genuine and a total sweetheart. The monthly fee is well worth investing it in myself. If you are on the fence about using an online service for a running coach - you should definitely consider Run Your Personal Best.

GBCoach Brandon Birdsong Brandon Birdsong has been my coach for about 2.5 years now and I can’t recommend him enough. I have to say one of the things that I really love is the fact that he takes every single athlete’s goals seriously. I’m not elite or even in the competitive arena but he has always pushed me just the same and cheered me on as if I were about to make the Olympic team. He is always approachable, so incredibly down to earth and one of the most genuinely kind human beings I’ve ever met. Don’t let that fool you though, he’ll still kick your butt and whip you into shape. I can’t even describe all of the ways I’ve improved as a runner and all around athlete since we started working together. He knows his stuff and has a unique ability to tailor training to each individual client and meet you where you are as an athlete whether you’re just beginning or ready to win.
