ITEMS LISTED AS IN STOCK BUT REFUNDED MONEY IMMEDIATELY The website indicated that the items I ordered were in stock, but when I made the order, I received a refund with no explanation of the reason for the refund. I assume the items were not in stock, but communication could have been better. As a small business owner with a web shop myself, I know how hard it can be to keep online inventory up to date, but good communication is key to maintaining trust with customers. I ordered two neck guard shirts, and I had read previous reviews that money was refunded without an explanation, so I had an idea that this might happen, but it was a bummer not to get the items I needed.

Trustworthy This is a real company, NOT a scam. I was initially worried because there was little background on it, but they shipped out products asap and I got everything as described.

The hockey jock shorts are really nice… The hockey jock shorts are really nice and were at a great price, but they sure do run big as noted in the posting. If they had a medium size I'd exchange them, but apparently Large is the smallest size they stock at this time. I'll give them a try tonight and we'll see if they hold up my socks. I must note that their delivery tracking system is a bit vague regarding just where the order is at any time. That said, these shorts arrived in about a week, which is OK.

What is Going On? I placed an order for a set of Shock Doctor hockey pants on January 5 only to have the order refunded 5 days later on January 10. To date, I still have no idea why I was refunded as no one from Surplushockey has contacted me. I understand that various issues and out-of-stock situations occur with on-line sales, but I do not understand why the company could not communicate with me and be truthful about the status of my order :(
