Honest reviews and great service I was looking for new skis this season after finally getting fed up with my current ones. While researching various brands and types of skis, I came across several in-depth reviews by SkiEssentials.com. They definitely narrowed down what I was looking to buy. The old bait and switch The old bait and switch. Ordered a pair of skis for a good deal that was advertised online. A couple days passed after my card was charged with the skis still listed on their website when I was notified they did not have the item. Giving an extra star because the email was polite and they offered the option for a refund or a different item and not just store credit or some other deception.

Buying 2 full xc ski packages online… Buying 2 full xc ski packages online (skis, boots, poles, bindings) is tough not being able to try them on. SkiEssentials made it beyond easy; I didn't know about sizing and was able to email them. They were currently updating their landing pages for more dropdowns with sizing but they were fast to respond. Purchased 2 full packages, received perfectly. Was able to exchange boots bc of a sizing issue at no problem; they even pulled the correct size aside until I sent back the wrong size. Would absolutely recommend; great customer service and great products.

Getting it done! Initially there was a problem with my order. Long story short, Ski Essentials did right by me and gave viable options. As a consumer and also someone that has been in sales my entire career. That's all I can ask for, is to be treated fairly. My skis arrived and the packing/care was tip top. They even mounted my bindings! Before purchasing I had referred a couple people that purchased, now they will continue to get positive word of mouth from me!

Terrible experience. Purchased boot from this retailer through Amazon. I like to support smaller shops, but I am in between sizes on the boots and need to return. Discovered that the return shipping fee they charge is $60 for the boots, which is insane and was not described on the listing. Robbery when other retailers charge at most $10 return shipping. Will never use them again.
