Don’t understand all the extra costs I’m not happy about the immense increase in taxes and resort fees associated with the listing being certified and protected. It went from an $85 fee to nearly $600. It also took several days to get our names added to the reservation

First Time Redweek User - Success! This was my first time using Redweek. The process was simple, the updates were frequent and complete, all my questions were thoroughly answered and I’m now booked! Our extended family had originally booked 2 separate rooms through a different hotel, when Redweek was recommended by a friend. We’re now booked in a 3 bedroom suite, altogether, and very much looking forward to this vacation. Even with the Redweek booking fee we’re saving a bit of money, and definitely getting nicer accomodations. Thank you!

Originally we purchased at our home… Originally we purchased at our home resort of Grand Vista for a few reasons, we had family in the general vicinity and knew that we’d be vacationing in the Orlando area yearly and it would definitely defray the cost of finding hotel lodging. We also had a young child at the time and the location was perfect for all the local Orlando attractions. Our son loved Sea World so we would go there every year because we have the lock-off room. The location was close enough to all we would want to do yet still have the serene quiet atmosphere of the private resort with great amenities. The hot Florida sun sometimes takes you by surprise and it was nice to have “downtime” to just relax in a homey setting and not feel like you were in a confining hotel setting. Grand Vista was by far one of our favorite resorts in the Marriott vacation club system.

Followed red week for several years Followed red week for several years, I was hesitant from trying it out. Once they started doing the verified and protected I felt a bit more comfortable. I rented a week in October. Got the buyers approval, but red week still said to wait on any non refundable purchases until they checked out everything on there end. 3 or 4 days went by before I got the final ok from them. I felt very comfortable with my transaction. And very excited to do it again.
