Double check your reservation! The people who own/run Brickhouse are great.. very attenative, and nice. But if you book a stay, look over EVERYTHING that has to do with the reservation. I thought that a Bed & BREAKFAST was just that... a bed AND breakfast. When we go to eat the first morning, we were told that a our reservation did not include breakfast and we had to pay 20 something more for each of us.. and for what we paid to stay, all food should be included. Oh and what ever happened to just a plain old farmers breakfast?

Great Bed & Breakfast. Very friendly staff. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Brickhouse Inn for our 5 year anniversary. We stayed in the New York room. Unintentionally booked during biker week so that was a nice surprise. But the room, the staff, and the food were great. Never had shoofly pie before but theirs got us hooked. Went on a couple Ghost tours and the guides were fanominal. We had a nice time overall, great experience.

Ideal accomodation for a visit to Gettysburg. Historical feel, central location, clean, comfortable and convenient. Oh, and homemade cake.

Conversations with the inn personnel… Conversations with the inn personnel and other guests were very informative about Gettysburg. We learned more about the history of the battle as it flowed through the town and how that impacted the Welty House.
