Easy no brainer for people who fly a fair oint This is my first delay where there was a Vacay Delay option. I thought I would get a text but I got an email so check both places. I was absolutely thrilled to turn my disappointing delay into a delightful break. (Ok VD, I can join your marketing team lol!). I had a voucher I used at a spa and had a choice of several services . They were pleasant and the process was easy. Way better than roaming around the airport!

Absolutely worth it! I purchased the $29/year plan and wasn't sure if the program would work, but since I travel frequently, I thought the $29 investment would pay for itself in just one use. Several weeks went by with on time departures and then 3 flights all in one week were delayed and I immediately received lounge vouchers for each delayed flight in my email. I had no problem showing the QR code at check in, and received all the same benefits as a paid lounge guest. I have already recommended the program to friends and coworkers. It sounded too good to be true, but it works! Happy to report I am now a lifetime member.

It works!… Excellent! Except for a few minor issues (1&2). A variety of drinks were readily available. Minimal food/snacks because I was notified at 8:30pm and they close at 9pm. The company’s communication was prompt, they emailed coupons immediately after my flight was delayed by 1 hr. What could you do better: 1. Close later eg 10pm. 2. Train staff to be courteous and respectful to all patrons equally. Paola at Orlando Club on 9/1 was bad mouthing a member at the bar because he wanted a non alcoholic drink and he repeated himself (non English speaking). She was making fun of him. This was in poor taste.

Two weeks after signing up About two weeks after signing up, I had the opportunity to try the service. As soon as my flight hit 60 minutes delayed, an email with the vouchers was sent to me. We had about four lounges/spa/gaming to choose from. Since I was traveling with my 9 year old daughter, we chose DFW Lounge for the snacks and drinks. While the lounge itself was crowded and needed some upgrades, (not Hello Vacays fault) my daughter enjoyed the snacks and chance to relax a little.

Account suspended after VacayDelay realized I am frequent flyer, lack of response, explanation, refund. Scam. I purchased one year subscription, and then extended that to lifetime. I was initially satisfied with the service - I obtained a voucher for one of my delayed flights (after prompting customer service as vendor's system had not recognized a delay automatically). I have even shared my positive experience at my travel blog. After registering 20+ flights in 2024 for which I already have my tickets, my account was suspended with no explanation. I sent three messages for assistance. All remained unanswered. It appears like when they understand you're a frequent flyer and their model is not profitable, they suspend your account and do not refund you.
