CZLifetime Insurance Lounge Access Revoked Without Proper Communication or Refund I bought lifetime insurance that included free access to the airport lounge in case of a flight delay of at least 1 hour. However, without any proper communication, the company no longer offers this service. As per inquiry, they stated, 'Due to circumstances beyond their control, we can no longer offer airport lounge access to our members in the same way we have up until now. Simply put, our airport lounge provider changed their policies, and flights can no longer be registered for VacayDelay.' When I asked for a refund, they replied, 'The details of the new feature for HelloLounge are still unavailable as our operations team is finalizing them. We will communicate to you and all our members once the new feature is ready for use, and the details are included." Not a legit business.

GBTwo weeks after signing up About two weeks after signing up, I had the opportunity to try the service. As soon as my flight hit 60 minutes delayed, an email with the vouchers was sent to me. We had about four lounges/spa/gaming to choose from. Since I was traveling with my 9 year old daughter, we chose DFW Lounge for the snacks and drinks. While the lounge itself was crowded and needed some upgrades, (not Hello Vacays fault) my daughter enjoyed the snacks and chance to relax a little.

AUIt is a case of the advertising as…something it isnot It is a case of the advertising as unless you read everything you think you are gaining access to the during a layover, not if your plane is delayed for over an hour. Thought it would be good for a couple of mylong layovers.

DKAccount suspended after VacayDelay realized I am frequent flyer, lack of response, explanation, refund. Scam. I purchased one year subscription, and then extended that to lifetime. I was initially satisfied with the service - I obtained a voucher for one of my delayed flights (after prompting customer service as vendor's system had not recognized a delay automatically). I have even shared my positive experience at my travel blog. After registering 20+ flights in 2024 for which I already have my tickets, my account was suspended with no explanation. I sent three messages for assistance. All remained unanswered. It appears like when they understand you're a frequent flyer and their model is not profitable, they suspend your account and do not refund you.

GBWORTH IT I recently experienced an international flight delay from Seoul, Korea to Los Angeles. I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to hello vacay, I was able to receive an airport lounge voucher not only for myself but also for my mom and sister (as they were traveling with me) via email promptly after notification of delay. The lounge made my extended wait much more comfortable and enjoyable. The meal food selection and drinks (alcohol included) were delicious. Thanks to this simple sign up, my delay was significantly less stressful and I got to enjoy it with my mom and sis. So worth it.
