Great property Great property, however, water to master shower was turned off, probably due to the bathroom being painted recently (there was sticky notes on the wall indicating "fresh paint"). Had to shower in down stairs bathroom. Took a while to get the TV working, later to find out there were parental controls. No instructions explaining this. However, the property itself was great with plenty of amenities, nice floor plan, comfortable bedding and furniture, great location and setting.

Everything Handled Professionally and Perfectly! From the time we selected a vacation rental property, Buckingham staff were with us every step of the way, guiding us easily through the process and handling every detail. Nothing was left to chance. Everything one could think of was provided and was easy to access. Check in and checkout procedures were clearly outlined and simple to follow. Security deposit was refunded promptly as well. Outstanding professional organization.

Not advertised correctly. Extreme basics in house. The house had only extreme basics - no coffee maker, no can opener, no extra towels, no extra bedding. The last email of our booking and the bottom of the page mentioned boundaries of the beach. Advertising of the house was not clear as to what beach access we have for the weekend. A room off the master with a fireplace and couch was closed and locked off, again that wasn’t advertised correctly. We were the last renters of Marla Bay house so that may have been why we were left without basic rental house supplies.

Stay Dec 29- Jan 5 The home was beautiful itself but the carpet in the master had dark stains on it probably from someone’s snow boots. The second bedroom on the same floor as the master smelled like urine. They are fixing these things for the next renter but that does not fix the week we were there. The cushions on sofa in the main living area are very worn and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. It’s a home made for entertaining not for lounging around and relaxing.

From the very beginning Exceeded our expectations! From the very beginning, I felt taken care of by Cristina and Paul! They were extremely accommodating and friendly! The properties we viewed were all very well-maintained and beautiful! We loved the spot we picked as it was so clean, spacious and serene! Staying at South Lake Tahoe right on the beach was so amazing. Thank you, Buckingham!
