Stay Dec 29- Jan 5 The home was beautiful itself but the carpet in the master had dark stains on it probably from someone’s snow boots. The second bedroom on the same floor as the master smelled like urine. They are fixing these things for the next renter but that does not fix the week we were there. The cushions on sofa in the main living area are very worn and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. It’s a home made for entertaining not for lounging around and relaxing.

3.8 stars for Sequoia Chalet. Pros: -Clean , quiet ,safe location, and easy check in. -just 2.5 miles to Heavenly SKI resort and,Riley's supermarket -Pool table and lovely backyard for kids to enjoy the snow -Good size- about 3000 square feet -amenities provided- towels, soap, shampoo, spices Cons: -Paid a premium expecting a luxurious experience (like our previous rental with Buckingham) -The mattresses are really old and it was uncomfortable to sleep in them. - Sofa bed in office room was torn and damaged so could not use -Not enough comforters for our family of 10 .

Friendly, responsive, and capable! The folks at Buckingham were friendly, responsive, and capable. Asks we had around the house were handled promptly (in one case, by their dedicated IT person—a luxury we've never had at other rental properties!) and courteously. Overall a speedy and pleasant experience. Looking forward to working with them again in the future!

Rental was inaccessible, poor communication The driveway and road was completely iced over and resulted in us having to buy chains in order to access the rental. We expected the rental to be accessible considering the area had not received snow in 3+ weeks. The only line on their website mentions "4-wheel drive cars are highly recommended". We did not see any reference to needing changes or a 4wd car in the instructions, emails, or any other communication. It would have been great to know that they are needed to access the rental. In talking with their customer support they stated that it was sent in an email but they were unable to point out exactly where. They then hung up when I asked to chat with a manager. Fair caution to anyone considering booking through this company.

Stunning home and majestic views Stunning home and majestic views! So many beautiful details in this home, bedding, and linens were excellent quality. The floorplan is well designed for family and fun times. The decks at every level are perfect for quiet reflection and taking in the breathtaking views. The game room, home theatre, and popcorn machine was a hit, the ping pong table added additional fun at another level in the home. This home was clean, well maintained and very welcoming. I especially loved all the little details from the teepee, birdhouses, to the beautiful clouds and vines captured throughout the dinning and kitchen area. What a beautiful experience!
