As we were traveling with a huge family (there were 7 of us), we were really curious which car was the best for such trip. Carngo offers so 7 and 8 seater cars, but we found out that it is cheaper to book 2 economy car than any multi-seater. After calculating all expenses (car rental price, insurance, Excess fee, 2 baby seats), we realized that it was really cheaper. Moreover, it was even more convenient, we had so much space for our luggage. I think that was the best choice we made. So don’t forget to calculate different options, one big car may be more expensive than two small ones.

When collecting the car, Top Car insisted we took extra insurance or leave a huge deposit in case of damage. We showed them the paperwork for the extra insurance we had taken but he was unmoved; we had to take more extra insurance or leave the deposit. we paid the extra insurance (again) feeling conned. If you book via Carngo, don't get the extra insurance because the car provider will likely insist you do it with them. Better still, book with a different company.
