Terrible scam of a company Terrible scam of a company. They tap into personal sensitive information to profile members. I'll keep my property in Airbnb and pay when traveling.

Thirdhome takes it all, owner gets back little to nothing I was really enthusiastic about the concept and put in 4 weeks of availability to get points for a holiday with my family. However, when trying the use the accumulated points it has been impossible to find an available home for me and my family. When I looked a few months ago for something for the summer, there were only 2 places in Spain in July and August, and the availability period of the house near the beach was 3 days (how is that possible, if owners have to put in entire weeks? Coincidently, it always seems to be the same house that’s available). In the meanwhile, though, Thirdhome has made at least USD 3-4,000 in fees off my house, while I have to pay the cleaning, heating etc. For example, for the group I had in winter heating costs were $200-300 for the week and cleaning a similar amount. At the same time, Thirdhome is charging $295 in membership fees PLUS $500-1400 per exchange that you make with your points. Thirdhome told me two years ago they were onboarding a lot of new properties. They convinced me to hang on but the promises have been just words with nothing to show for it. My points are expiring soon and I will leave with a great deal of disappointment. I have had exchange guests who did have a better experience, but I think you have to be able to travel off seasons and to the US and the Caribbean to make use of the points.

Management has zero respect for boundaries Working in this company also means sacrificing your work-life balance. The management does not respect the personal boundaries of the employees. You will forced to work even if it's already outside of your work hours and despite not being paid for the extra work. You have nothing else to do besides comply since the politics here may get you removed from the company. It's a truly toxic work culture.

Best year of my life I joined THIRDHOME a year ago and I have had the best year of my life for holidays having already been to 10 properties and received a loyalty key! I have been able to take my family and my friends all over the world and all of the properties without exception ,have been of a very high standard . Plus the hosts have all been very generous and helpful . New properties and dates are coming up all the time and THIRDHOME keep you constantly updated by email literally everyday. I can’t wait to open their emails to plan my next holiday. I have 3 up and coming holidays in my reservations; Scotland, in an 18 person property, USA Orlando in a 7 bedroomed property on a golf resort near Disney and one I am very excited for , a barge moored in Amsterdam port with its very own captain!
