I will recommend them to anyone. I have been to Alaska 6 times now (with John Hall’s Alaska), I have been to Alaska for every season. There’s something awesome every time I go there. The accommodations are top notch, the food is superb, and the tour guides are very knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating to anyone with disabilities. And the wildlife and marine animals that you see up close (moose, bears, Dall sheep, harbor seals, humpback whales, just to name a few. You can never go wrong with John Hall’s Alaska.

What a great travel experience What a great travel experience. Our nine days on land and eight days on ship were well organized and offered a wide variety of activities. We were particularly impressed by Jeremy Riddle, our tour guide. His enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the state made this one of our most memorable trips.

Very good personal attention Very good personal attention, such as airport pickup. Food choices generally good, but service, food, and rooms poor at Backcountry Lodge. Two hours for dinner - mostly involved waiting for next course and entries were poor. Several days were overall wasted. No need for two days at Backcountry lodge. Talkeetna was a waste as all of group was back at Lodge within two hours. Two cruises basically over the same body of water was a waste of time. Two days in Cordova not needed, especially when accommodations were poor. The unexpected plane ride over the glaciers was trip highlight. We had been to Alaska before and expected a great trip. Very disappointed. Tour manager Jeremy Riddle was very good and personable.

No decisions as to where you will eat your next meal as all meals are pre-planned and always delicious and in a great setting. Any difficulties (weather, health, cancellations, baggage) you may encounter along the way are handled in a quick and efficient way by your knowledgeable tour guide. No need to bring any money except for souvenirs you may wish to purchase as your trip cost is all inclusive. Just pack your bag and enjoy a trip or trips of a lifetime.

Every detail was perfect! They thought of and covered EVERY detail, I swear our tour guide (Gwen) even had the power to que sunshine at the right time! Absolutely loved the entire trip and their attention to detail, thanks for making our 25th Wedding Anniversary trip the trip of a lifetime!
