Outstanding private photo tours We have completed 3 private bird photo tours with Pablo Cervantes as our guide. All have been outstanding. Itinerary perfect for our age and activity level. Pablo has outstanding knowledge of both birds and photography, and has helped us improve our photos immensely. Cannot recommend him and Tropical Birding highly enough!

Costa Rica Introtour 2018 A great tour with a great guide, Scott Olmstead. His knowledge of birds and ability to find them was fantastic. Birders often have interests in other parts of the natural world, and Scott had something to offer in many areas there as well (8 life frogs, woo-hoo!). Best of all, though, was his attitude throughout the trip. He was always patient, quick with a smile or laugh, and generally had exactly the sort of calm personality one wants to be around when going through the early mornings and long, hot days of a tropical excursion.

Excellent tour with a variety of… Excellent tour with a variety of habitats. Jose was an outstanding tour leader not only because of his uncanny ability to spot and identify birds but manage a sometimes challenging tour.He got us through several land slides unscathed! One suggestion. We could have been provided, as Australian tours are, with a mid-morning and mid-afternoon cup of tea and snack and break. As an 81 year-old I could keep up but would have welcomed some breaks.

An amazing Borneo experience! Sam, our TB guide, did an amazing job at finding the birds and other wildlife on our custom tour of Borneo. Tropical Birding, Northern Colombia Considering how bone dry the area was that we birded, our guide did a remarkable job in getting us as many birds as possible. There were no issues with accommodations or food. Everything went off without a hitch. Great experience.
